As of today (9/19/07) besides me, and a very few news sites, this blog also mentions the incident! The comments on my blog are also unique, thanks neighbors!

He lives in the neighborhood and had the signs for Solomon Templo plastered on his property by the crew of "The Shield" that shot on his block. Guess his block looks "tough enough".

For those who have not seen it, "The Shield" is the most intense television show ever, bar none.

I live around the corner and there was a bad fire just 2 doors down Sunday night. Everyone thinks these two things may be related, as Solomon has lots of relatives in that immediate area.

I was one of the very first people to find him that night. At first we thought he was just a drunk, passed out on the lawn. But when we got closer we saw he was tied up in chains. There were two sets of chains: one that ran from his left wrist, around his neck to his right wrist, and another chain around his legs. There were four padlocks: one for each wrist, one on his neck and one for his feet. There was also an electrical cable attached to the chain by the back of his neck.

Now, the really weird thing is despite all of this, he actually looked pretty good. There were no visible marks on his chest, back or arms. No bruises, old or new that I saw.

Another really weird thing is that the chains and locks appeared to be BRAND NEW. They looked as if they were bought that morning at Home depot.

This thing seemed very fishy to me... anyone have more info??

There's very little info out there about this very weird case. Only other thing I saw on the news was the kidnappers shaved his head. The LA Times hasn't written anything about this at all. I wonder why so little media attention?

Oddly enough, Solomon Templo's neighborhood does not look "tough enough." He lives in a nice (not fancy, but nice) part of a very nice area called Los Feliz. The Shield was shot in nearby Silver Lake, several miles away, which is a hipster area but has its more crummy parts. His family had those posters far and wide, not just in their immediate neighborhood. Niggling details, to be sure, but since I live near this Mr. Templo, I know these things. The neighbors say he has gambling debts and the mob (which one? dunno) are after him. He better pay them if this is true or they'll kill him any day now.
